Description:
|
|
This bowl has a flared rim, steep rounded sides, a depressed body, and a short foot ring. A pair of five-clawed dragons is molded on the interior walls, and a "striped, billowing ruyi" motif is incised in the center. Since the molding is deep, the dragon motif is vivid. Besides the base and the foot ring, the ware is glazed with copper red, which contains a light gray tinge.
